Memories and Musings

Wow. I haven't posted in a very long time!  Apparently a few of our computers have something against livejournal, and I haven't been able to log on for a while. I'm back, at last, and thought I might post.

Well, let's see... What's been happening? 

It's NaNoWriMo, isn't it? Sometime, I'm sure, I'll work up the courage to actually participate. But for now, life is busy enough I know a few people who are practically never available online because they're constantly writing! :P As for my own writing, I am within a few paragraphs of finishing one of my longest stories! Yes, it's only 10 chapters, but... Still. I'm still working on getting my stories longer. I'm rather proud of it. After I finish this one, it'll give me alot more time to work on my other stories, hopefully.

Since I've last posted, I've become mildly obsessed with two Christian fantasy book series - 'The Door Within' trilogy by Wayne Thomas Batson and the 'Dragon Keeper' series, by Donita K. Paul. They're both very good. I recommend them. I also read Wayne Thomas Batson's 'Isle of Swords'. There is a sequel, 'Isle of Fire', that I am still trying to get my hands on. Maybe I'll get it for christmas! :P

I'm also having great fun in rediscovering the fun of virtual dragons at DragonCave. I played this little game a while back, but in the business of life forgot that I had an account. They've gotten several new dragons since I left, and I'm having fun playing with it again. A friend also told me about a community on LJ, Dragonspam, that helps to get clicks and views. I might just have to check it out.

Yes, this is the first entry. I am still baffled as to how much of the stuff on LiveJournal works, but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon enough. I am currently working on the puzzle of how to make my own emotion set. I think I might go collapse on my bed first though.

Right now, I am listening to the hyperactive screeching of my two sisters. Yes. Screeching. At 11:30 at night. Ah, siblings. Mine never seem to get tired of acting crazy. I think I shall go into my room, shut the door, and sleep in the bliss of ignorance.
